Sully has been building corporate and non-profit organization websites for 10 years, and using Joomla! almost since it was new. He is a Principal of Terrace Media Group, an independent website development firm that helps graphic design studios deliver great Joomla! CMS sites to their clients. An embedded software/systems engineer in the aerospace industry by trade, Bruce discovered Joomla! in 2005 and used it to create websites for personal and community applications. To that end, he learned enough PHP and Javascript to develop a number of small extensions that met his needs and published them under the brand joomlander.net. In total, he has built or customized between 15 and 20 Joomla! sites and often assists Joombies (Joomla newbies) looking for help getting their first sites up and running. Bruce is a past (and future) member of the Joomla! Bug Squad as well as co-founder and executive committee chairman of JUG Northern Virginia.
Don Cranford is the owner of Katalyst Solutions, LLC, a web development and SEO firm in Northern Virginia. He started developing websites in the mid-90's and was introduced to Mambo back in 2004 and was immediately hooked on the concept of Content Management Systems and Open Source. Dorothy Firsching is the founder of Ursa Major Consulting is a company focused on the delivery of high quality, responsive consulting in the application of information technology to business problems. Their consultants typically have 10 to 20 or more years of industry leadership, with expertise in management as well as specialized areas. They understand the big picture as well as provide the right technical skills to advise and support their clients.
Joe is a freelance Joomla! developer based in the Washington DC area. He's the author of the book Learning Joomla! 1.5 Extension Development,as well as the video series Joomla! Essential Training at Lynda.com. When he's not biking, writing, or making a mess in the kitchen, he can be found pontificating at DC PHP Developers Group meetings. Ryan Ozimek is the President of Open Source Matters (OSM), the non-profit organization that helps manage the Joomla! project. Ryan has been an officer on OSM's board of directors, and has provided stewardship and guidance in the project's fundraising and event management. During this time, the Joomla! project has expanded greatly, now topping more than 16 million downloads and over 380,000 registered users in its forums.
