About Chad Windnagle

Chad Windnagle is a twenty year old Joomla! lover. He was introduced to the Joomla! CMS in 2005 when he entered an internship with a web development company. Chad was one of the first runner-up picks during Joomla!’s 2007 GHOP content, and has been a part of the Joomla community since. Chad has been active in the Joomla! community as a Joomla! forum moderator, an official documentation team member, and remains active as a part of the Joomla! Resource Directory Editors Team.

Chad graduated from Tompkins Cortland Community College with an Associates of Applied Science in Website Design. Chad graduated as a high-honor student. He is continuing his education at Delhi University but remains persistent in involving himself with all-things-Joomla! as much as possible.

• Required Joomla! Folder Structure
• Setting up your Index file
• Creating Module Positions
• Creating Collapsible Modules Columns
• Creating an install file (xml file)
• Using the Template Override System
• Creating and installing a template

Note: This topic will employ the use of standard HTML and CSS concepts. It will be assumed that most attendees have a fairly good grasp of these concepts as we'll be focusing on using those concepts within the arena of Joomla! template development.
